The Norwegian farmers association for HSE services (FHSE) is an incorporation owned by Norwegian Farmers´ Union and the Norwegian Farmer and Smallholders´ Union in partnership with the Department of Agriculture. Goal and objective setting
Reduce accidents and occupational diseases in Norwegian agriculture. Create well-being, quality and profitability in Norwegian agriculture.
The Norwegian farmers association for HSE services is cooperating with local occupational health services, which offers service to farmers and others in a region.
FHSE employs HSE advisors to work with the cooperating occupational health services in the region. These services have their own doctors, nurses, and physiotherapists. Whit the occupational health services, including the HSE advisor from FHSE, we are able to give the members overall assessment for HSE.
Organisation
FHSE is managed by a board comprising members from the Norwegian Farmers´´ Union and the Norwegian Farmer and Smallholders´´ Union. The head office is situated in Kongsberg - about 100 km west of Oslo.
All work to develop and establish the FHSE in Norway was done in close cooperation with both central and regional agricultural organisations, and this close cooperation is still one of the success factors

- individual HSE advising on the farm
- HSE activity in small groups
- other benefits for members are discount on insurance, first aid equipment and courses form FHSE
Courses:
- Practical HSE work, with e-learning, that satisfy demand of HSE qualifications.
- Fire protection courses
- Ergonomics courses
- Building of quality systems
- Farmer in crises, how do you meet people in crisis?
- Other theme courses, gas, noise and tailor-made courses.
Other services:
- Consultation at the occupational health services
- Individual HSE consultation on the farm.
- Non-members of FHSE can by services on a level with members, but to a higher price then members
- Give assistance if crises
